Elliptic Clothing Company
Elliptic Clothing Company and Elliptic Empire were founded by Kestin Cornwall in 2007 with long time business partners Yukiko Otsu and Jon Todd.
Fashion is the perfect medium for Cornwall to harness and enjoy his love of color and expression while showcasing his own work as well as fellow artist’s. All of Elliptic Clothing Company’s products between 2008 – 2010 were hand silk screened at their Toronto based factory in Bloor West Village. Kestin Cornwall has always tried to keep the brand as authentic.
2008 proved to be a very successful year for Elliptic Clothing Company, the start up brand was featured in numerous fashion shows such as Fashion Has No Borders and Hot Now. Later, that same year, the summer line was shot by celebrity and lifestyle photographer Steve Carty and Elliptic Clothing Company was featured on City TV and Fashion Television. Elliptic Clothing Company has also been featured in Naked Eye Magazine and TRVAS Magazine. In 2009 Kestin Cornwall launched The Art Is Life Project under the Brand as a way to sponsor young artists while supporting the arts. Elliptic Clothing Company sponsored such acts as Hip-Hop artist Jdiggz, Intro, Nixx and PB of Untitled, R&B artist Andreena Mill, hip-hop/dance artists Truezt, Special (The E-team), R&B Singer Ryi and song writer/singer Oriana as well as many other young talents. Hip-hop artist Lady Sovereign and Toronto artist Drake have also been spotted wearing their product. Elliptic also launched extensions of the brand such as Elliptic The Symphony an Elliptic Empire in 2009.
